Getting There

Directions

From Houston, head south on Buck Flats Road toward the Morice Mountain Nordic Ski Club recreation area, approximately 8 km from town. Continue to the club's designated parking area near the day lodge. Use the official trail map and directional signs to locate Outhouse Blues within the network. 

Parking

Parking is available at the designated Morice Mountain Nordic Ski Club parking area near the day lodge. Use marked spaces and keep access roads and trail entrances clear.

Safety & Preparation

  • Check the latest grooming report, snow conditions, and weather before skiing.
  • Stay on designated trails and follow posted signs.
  • All trails are two-way; yield to downhill traffic.
  • Maintain control and watch for other skiers at junctions.
  • Dress appropriately for winter conditions and carry water and basic emergency supplies.
  • Bring a trail map or GPS-enabled navigation device.
  • Ski within your ability and remember that all visitors use the trails at their own risk.
