Getting There

Directions

From Smithers, travel north on Highway 16 and turn left onto Kitseguecla Loop Road. Cross the railway tracks and continue along Kitseguecla Lake Road. After approximately 8 km, turn left onto the 608 (Uptrack) Forest Service Road. Follow the road to the designated Hankin parking lot. From there, consult the geo-referenced trail map to identify Uptrack (D).

Parking

Park in the designated Hankin parking area. The access road can be snowy and icy during winter; a four-wheel-drive vehicle with winter tires and chains is recommended. The upper section of Uptrack FSR is narrow and single-lane, with descending traffic having the right of way. Trailers are not permitted.
