Getting There

Directions

From Smithers, travel north on Highway 16 and turn onto Kitseguecla Loop Road. Continue toward Kitseguecla Lake Road, cross the railway tracks, and follow the road toward the 608 Forest Service Road. Turn onto the signed Hankin-Evelyn access road and continue to the designated winter parking area. From the parking lot, follow the marked uphill skin tracks to reach the numbered ski runs. Consult the official trail map to identify the Out Run (1, 2, 3) connection.

Parking

Parking is available at the designated Hankin-Evelyn winter parking lot. The parking area provides access to the uphill routes and surrounding backcountry ski network. The access road can be snowy, icy, and rough during winter, so winter tires and a suitable four-wheel-drive vehicle are recommended. Park in designated spaces and keep the access road clear for other visitors and maintenance vehicles.
