Steinhoe (Kitselas) is a mountain-bike trail in the Terrace Mountain network. It forms part of the route toward Steinhoe Ridge and connects with trails including Spring Creek (to Steinhoe) and Lichen Loop.

Getting There

Directions

Access from the Spring Creek trailhead and follow Spring Creek (to Steinhoe) toward the Steinhoe junction. Continue along the established trail network toward Steinhoe Ridge, following Trailforks and posted trail signs.

Parking

Parking is available at the established Spring Creek trailhead. Park in suitable areas and keep the access road clear.

Safety & Preparation

  • Expect climbing, uneven forest terrain, roots, and rocky sections.
  • Some sections may be technical, particularly when combined with Lichen Loop.
  • Wet or muddy conditions can make the trail slippery.
  • Watch for other mountain bikers and multi-use trail users.
  • Follow posted signs and stay on designated trails.
  • Wear a helmet and appropriate protective equipment.
