About This Trail

Lichen Loop is a mountain-bike trail in the Terrace Mountain network. It forms part of the climbing and riding route toward the upper Terrace Mountain trails and is connected with the Spring Creek and Steinhoe trail system.

Getting There

Directions

Access the trail through the Spring Creek/Steinhoe trailhead. Follow the Spring Creek trail uphill until reaching the Lichen Loop junction, then follow the loop according to the signed trail network.

Parking

Parking is available at the established Spring Creek trailhead near the pump house. Park in designated areas and avoid blocking access roads.

  • Expect rooty, rocky, and uneven forest terrain.
  • Some sections can be challenging, particularly while climbing.
  • Wet conditions may make roots, rocks, and soil slippery.
