About This Trail

Eagle's Way is a forested trail within the Onion Lake trail network near Terrace. It is primarily used for Nordic skiing during winter and forms part of the interconnected trail system around Onion Lake. The surrounding trails can also support hiking and other recreational activities during snow-free conditions.

Getting There

Directions

From Terrace, travel south toward the Onion Lake area and enter the established Onion Lake trail system. Follow the trail network toward the Eagle's Way junction and remain on the designated route.

Parking

Parking is available at the established Onion Lake Cross Country Ski Trails access area. Use designated parking spaces and keep access roads and trail entrances clear.

  • Winter use includes groomed Nordic ski tracks; watch for skiers and grooming operations.
  • Expect forested terrain with roots, uneven surfaces, and potentially muddy sections during snow-free conditions.
  • Wet conditions and snowmelt can make the trail soft or slippery.
