About This Trail

Ya Boi is a steep downhill mountain bike trail in the Copper Mountain trail network near Terrace. The route travels through forested terrain with a fast, technical character and is primarily suited to experienced mountain bikers. It forms part of the historic Copper Mountain downhill network.

Getting There

Directions

From Terrace, access the Copper Mountain trail network using the established Copper Mountain access road. Follow the current trail map toward the upper trail network and locate Ya Boi within the interconnected downhill trails.

Parking

Use established parking or staging areas at the Copper Mountain trail network, including the upper-trails parking area where appropriate. Do not block access roads, gates, or areas used by industrial vehicles.

Safety & Preparation

Ya Boi is a steep and technically demanding downhill trail. Ride within your ability and use appropriate protective equipment. Expect roots, rocks, steep terrain, and changing trail conditions. Check current trail reports before riding, as weather and maintenance can affect conditions. Watch for other riders and vehicles, and be prepared for limited cell service and wildlife, including bears.
