Getting There

Directions

From Port Edward, travel toward the Gamble Creek area along Highway 16 and use the current trail map to locate the appropriate Gamble Creek access. Confirm the current access conditions before entering, as forestry and resource roads in the area may change.

Parking

Parking is limited near the access point. Use only safe, established pullouts and keep forestry or resource roads clear for other vehicles.

Safety & Preparation

This is a remote backcountry route with potentially rough, muddy, and overgrown sections. Elevation gain and uneven terrain can make the route more demanding than the initial trail conditions suggest. Cell coverage may be limited. Carry an offline map, sufficient water and emergency supplies, and bear-safety equipment. Be alert for forestry vehicles and respect any posted access restrictions.
