Getting There

Directions

From Port Edward, follow the local road network toward the Tona Lake area. Use current local mapping to locate the East or West Trail access, as forestry and recreation roads may change with conditions.

Parking

Limited parking is available near the trail access points. Park only in safe, established pullouts and keep access roads clear for local and forestry vehicles.

Safety & Preparation

Expect wet, muddy, and uneven forest conditions, particularly after rainfall. Forestry vehicles may use nearby access roads. Cell service can be limited, and wildlife including bears may be present. Carry bear-safety equipment, stay alert, and check current road and trail conditions before visiting.
