Getting There

Directions

From Terrace, travel west on Highway 16 toward Prince Rupert and follow the signed access road to Shames Mountain Ski Area. Continue to the main base area and lodge. Gully Jump and Greg's Glades are accessed from the ski-area trail network rather than from a separate hiking trailhead.

Parking

Parking is available at the main Shames Mountain base area near the lodge. Use designated parking areas and follow seasonal instructions or directions from ski-area staff.

Safety & Preparation

This route is rated Moderate and includes variable, potentially steep or technical ski terrain. Conditions can change quickly with snow, ice, visibility and weather. Stay on designated open terrain, obey signs and closures, and maintain control around other skiers and snowboarders.
