Getting There

Directions

From Terrace, travel west on Highway 16 toward Prince Rupert and follow the signed Shames Mountain access road. Continue to the main ski-area base and lodge. Millennium is accessed from the ski-area trail network rather than from a separate trailhead.

Parking

Parking is available at the main Shames Mountain base area near the lodge. Use designated parking areas and follow any instructions or seasonal restrictions provided by Shames Mountain staff.

Safety & Preparation

Millennium is rated More Difficult on the Shames Mountain trail map. Skiers and snowboarders should remain within open and designated terrain, obey all signs and closures, and maintain control around other users. Conditions can change quickly with snow, ice, visibility and weather. The ski-area boundary includes areas that are not patrolled, so do not cross marked boundaries or enter closed terrain. Uphill users must also follow Shames Mountain's current uphill-access policy and use the designated routes and required passes.
