About This Trail

An easy forest trail in Kleanza Creek Provincial Park leading to a viewpoint overlooking the dramatic Kleanza Creek box canyon and waterfalls. The trail is relatively wide and follows the forest toward the canyon, making it suitable for a short nature walk and scenic viewpoint.

Getting There

Directions

From Terrace, travel east on Highway 16 toward Kleanza Creek Provincial Park. Turn into the park at the signed entrance and continue to the day-use/parking area. The trail begins from the park area. 

Parking

Parking is available at the Kleanza Creek Provincial Park day-use area. Park only in designated areas and keep access roads clear.

Safety & Preparation

  • The trail ends at a 24-metre-deep box canyon with no restraining barriers; use extreme caution near the edge.
  • Keep children closely supervised.
  • Do not cross or climb protective fencing around the canyon viewpoint.
  • Stay on designated trails and follow posted signs.
  • Be cautious around fast-moving water and waterfalls.
  • Watch for bears and other wildlife.
  • Dogs must be kept on leash in the park.
