About This Trail

A moderately challenging route through the Terrace Mountain trail network, connecting Steinhoe, T2, and Wheel of Fortune. The route travels through forested terrain with climbing sections and technical mountain-bike trail features. Wheel of Fortune provides a descending section with changing terrain, including rocky and slab-like sections.

Getting There

Directions

Access the route through the Terrace Mountain/Steinhoe trail network. The Steinhoe system can be accessed from the Spring Creek area or the Kitselas Road side. Follow the current trail map to connect Steinhoe with T2 and Wheel of Fortune.

Parking

Parking is available at established access areas around the Steinhoe and Spring Creek trail network. Use designated parking areas and avoid blocking residential roads, access roads, or trail entrances.

Safety & Preparation

  • This is a multi-use mountain-bike trail network; watch for cyclists, hikers, and other trail users.
  • T2 and Wheel of Fortune include technical and uneven terrain.
  • Conditions can become slippery and muddy after rain.
  • Use caution on descents and at trail intersections.
  • Be alert for roots, rocks, steep sections, and changing trail conditions.
  • Carry an offline map, as cell service may be limited in some sections.
  • Be bear aware and follow local wildlife precautions.
