Getting There

Directions

Start from the Terrace Mountain Hiking and Biking Trail access at Walsh Avenue. Follow the Terrace Mountain trail network toward the Flathead and Griff's Line sections, then continue along the mapped route toward the Skeena Valley viewpoint. The City of Terrace identifies the Terrace Mountain trailheads as established access points for the area's hiking and biking network. 

Parking

Parking is available at established Terrace Mountain trailhead areas, including the Walsh Avenue access. Park only in designated or appropriate areas and keep residential streets, driveways, and access roads clear.

Safety & Preparation

  • The route is moderately challenging and includes uphill and uneven sections.
  • Expect roots, rocks, mud, and slippery surfaces, particularly after rain.
  • Some sections are shared with mountain bikers; remain alert at blind corners and trail junctions.
  • Follow the correct trail markers and carry an offline map because the Terrace Mountain network contains numerous connecting trails.
  • Bears and other wildlife may be present; keep food secured and maintain a safe distance.
  • Weather can change quickly, especially on exposed sections.
