About This Trail

A moderately challenging loop near Terrace that combines the Flathead and Griff's Line trails with a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Skeena Valley and surrounding mountains. The route travels through forested terrain with rocky and root-covered sections, moderate climbs, and several opportunities for views. It is popular for hiking, walking, and enjoying the scenery close to Terrace.

Getting There

Directions

From Terrace, travel toward the Terrace Mountain/Flathead trail network and follow signs or the current trail map to the established Flathead trail access. The loop connects with Flathead and Griff's Line, so follow the marked trail junctions toward the Skeena Valley viewpoint.

Parking

Parking is available near the Terrace Mountain and Flathead trail access area. Use established parking or pull-out areas and avoid blocking residential roads, driveways, or trail access.

  • Expect rocks, roots, mud, and potentially slippery conditions after rain.
