About This Trail

Pedal Fed is a short mountain-bike singletrack in the Skeletor riding area near Kitimat. The trail is approximately 1.22 km (4,009 ft) long, with around 91 m (298 ft) of elevation gain. It forms part of the local MTB network and can be combined with nearby trails for a longer ride.

Getting There

Directions

Access Pedal Fed through the Skeletor trail network near Kitimat. The trail connects with the local network around Dadook Avenue. Because individual trail entrances are not well signed, use an offline Trailforks map or GPS track to locate the access point.

Parking

There is no clearly documented dedicated parking area directly at Pedal Fed. Use permitted parking near the Skeletor/Dadook Avenue access area. Do not block residential driveways, streets, or access roads.

Safety & Preparation

  • The Skeletor riding area is unsanctioned, so ride at your own risk.
  • Pedal Fed includes steep and technical sections despite its relatively short length.
  • Recent trail reports have noted overgrown conditions, so check current trail conditions before riding.
  • Wear a helmet and appropriate mountain-bike protective equipment.
  • Expect roots, rocks, mud, and slippery conditions after rain.
  • Watch for other riders and wildlife, including bears.
