The route passes through coastal forest before reaching a viewpoint where visitors can enjoy views of the surrounding mountains, shoreline, and tidal waters. The area is particularly appealing for photography, birdwatching, and a quiet nature walk. Minette Bay is an official geographic feature at the head of Kitimat Arm.
