About This Trail

Kitamaat Village Trail is a community walking route around Kitamaat Village, a Haisla community located at the head of Kitimat Arm on Douglas Channel. The area provides a peaceful coastal setting with forest, mountain, and water views. The trail is suited to exploring the community and surrounding natural landscape rather than a strenuous backcountry hike. Kitamaat Village is an officially recognized community in British Columbia.

Leave No Trace

Please follow Leave No Trace principles: pack out all waste, stay on designated trails, respect wildlife, and be considerate of other visitors.
