About This Trail

Pierce Hofer Memorial was created to honor Pierce Hofer, a beloved young man who was tragically lost in a motor vehicle accident. His classmates approached the BLMBA with the idea of using the remaining funds from their graduation to build a feature on the local bike trails in memory of their friend.

Those initial funds helped leverage additional contributions from volunteers, donations, and the local community, transforming the project into an incredible monument to Pierce and his passion for riding. The centerpiece is one of the largest wall rides many local riders have ever seen, designed to resemble half of an Olympic velodrome.

The result is a unique and impressive trail feature that serves as both a lasting tribute and an exciting riding experience. It's a spectacular sight to see—and a whole lot of fun to ride!
