Standing at 2027m, Redslide Mountain is located at the northern terminus of the Kidprice Range and overlooks the mid section of Morice Lake. It provides amazing views of the interior-coastal mountains. Some of the sights you can see are Nadina Mountain, Tableland, Sibola Range, Morice Range, Kidprice Peak, Mount Loring, Titanium Peak, Howson Range and the pristine Redslide/Glacier Creek Valley…. Just to name a few. Views of Atna Bay on Morice Lake as well as Kidprice Lake can also be seen.
This alpine environment will amaze you with patches of whitebark pine, mountain hemlock, fields of wildflowers and a healthy population of Marmots. There is a nice sized lake on top of the mountain.
Most people looking for a shorter trip stop at the lake, however if you want to experience the full mountain, heading to the top offers an amazing day of hiking.
