Getting There

From downtown Smithers, drive along the Hudson Bay Mountain Road (logging/forest service road) for about 12 km. Turn onto the McDonnell Lake Forest Service Road and continue for another ~13 km to reach the Dennis Lake Recreation Site. Elevation of Dennis Lake is approximately 840 m (2,756 ft) Note: Access is via unpaved forest service roads, conditions may vary (especially in winter).
