About This Trail

The Rainey Creek Nature Walk is a charming trail through the picturesque town of Stewart, offering a peaceful experience along the banks of the Bear River. The scenic route highlights the area’s natural beauty, with the gentle sound of the river accompanying hikers along much of the trail.

A highlight is the Estuary Boardwalk on the return leg, offering stunning views of the estuary and excellent photo opportunities. A tranquil lake in the northeastern section of the trail adds to the scenery, surrounded by beautiful landscapes.
