One of the most rewarding alpine hikes in the Bulkley Valley, this out-and-back trail climbs from the upper reaches of Hudson Bay Mountain to the summit plateau, passing the stunning subalpine Crater Lake along the way. The route offers sweeping panoramic views of the Bulkley Valley, the Telkwa Range, and on clear days, distant peaks to the north. Total elevation gain exceeds 1,000 m — this is a strenuous full-day hike requiring proper preparation. The trail sits on the traditional territory of the Wet'suwet'en Nation.
