Getting There

Directions

From downtown Houston, BC:

  1. Travel east on Highway 16 toward Telkwa.
  2. Follow local forestry or snowmobile club access roads leading into the Telkwa Mountain recreation area.
  3. Continue to the designated winter staging area used by local snowmobile groups.
  4. Follow marked snowmobile routes toward the Telkwa Mountains trail network.

Trail access roads and staging locations may vary by season. Riders should verify current access conditions with local snowmobile clubs before departure.

Parking

  • Parking is available at designated winter staging areas near the trail access point.
  • Most staging areas accommodate trucks and trailers.
  • Do not block forestry roads, gates, or emergency access routes.
