Trail direction: We Bit Uppity – Lower is designated uphill primary. Watch for downhill traffic from faster riders coming off the upper network, particularly at trail intersections.
Season: The trail is generally rideable late April through October. Conditions early in the season can be soft — check the Trailforks trail reports before heading out.
Wildlife: You are in bear country. Carry bear spray and make noise on the trail, especially in dense vegetation sections.
Weather: Northern BC weather can change rapidly. Bring a rain layer even on clear days, and avoid riding in wet conditions as machine-groomed trails can become slippery.
Helmets required. Appropriate footwear and gloves recommended for all riders.
Cell service may be limited or unavailable on the mountain. Let someone know your plans before you ride.
