About This Trail

Findlay Falls Trail is a short and easy hike leading to a scenic viewpoint overlooking Findlay Falls and the creek as it rushes through a narrow canyon. This quick outing is perfect for visitors looking for a rewarding natural attraction without a long hike.

The trail follows a gentle route through the forest before reaching the top of the waterfall, where you can enjoy impressive views of the cascading water and rugged canyon below. The falls are at their most spectacular during spring and early summer, when snowmelt and seasonal runoff create a powerful flow. Because these glacier-fed and snowmelt creeks can drastically slow down or dry up in late summer, it is best to check recent weather and seasonal water flow levels before heading out.

Please note that there are no trailhead or directional signs leading to the falls, so it is recommended to bring a map or GPS for navigation. Additionally, always review current trail surface conditions for mud or overgrown summer brush, and check local wildfire activity or smoke levels before your trip. Whether you're stopping for photography, sightseeing, or a peaceful walk in nature, Findlay Falls offers a beautiful and easily accessible outdoor destination.

Leave No Trace

Please follow Leave No Trace principles: pack out all waste, stay on designated trails, respect wildlife, and be considerate of other visitors.
