About This Trail

Tucked just outside of Smithers, Ganokwa Falls is a short adventure with a big payoff. Hike through mossy forest, scramble a short trail, and reach a powerful waterfall crashing into a canyon — one of Smithers' true hidden gems.

Getting There

Directions

Head east on Highway 16 toward Telkwa. Turn left onto Old Babine Lake Road (just past the Bulkley River bridge). Drive about 14 km north. Watch for a small pullout and ribbon sign on the right-hand side of the road — that’s the trailhead.

Parking

The parking area fits a few vehicles.
