About This Trail

Duck Pond is a popular easy 1.6km loop trail right in the heart of Houston, winding through aspen and willow forest surrounding a wetland pond. Rated 4.3 stars and one of Houston's most-visited trails, it's well suited for all ages including young families with strollers. The pond attracts a variety of birds, making it a favourite spot for birdwatchers, and the trail is used year-round for hiking, walking, mountain biking, and snowshoeing. A partially paved surface makes portions accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. Dogs welcome on leash. Takes approximately 20–25 minutes to complete. Located on the unceded traditional territory of the Wet'suwet'en people.
