About This Trail

Padawan is the beginner-friendly Green trail at Mount Harry Davis, a 1.7km two-way singletrack on the most southern part of the riding area near Houston. Managed by the Houston Mountain Bike Association (HMBA) in partnership with Recreation Sites and Trails BC, the trail features machine-built berms and tabletops that reward smooth technique and make it a perfect introduction to mountain biking for all ages — parents and kids can enjoy it together. The southern location also means a longer riding season: some years rideable from late April to early November, with potential for winter fat biking and snowshoeing. The trail includes a great vista viewpoint overlooking the Bulkley Valley. Part of a 9km+ network at Mount Harry Davis ranging from Green to Black difficulty. Located on the unceded traditional territory of the Wet'suwet'en people.
