Getting There

Directions

To reach Lower Bluff Connector, travel from Smithers toward The Bluff recreation area via Highway 16 and follow access roads into the Hudson Bay Mountain trail system. From the main Bluff parking area, access the lower trail network where the connector links trails such as Smooth, Long Way, Boardwalk, and Bermline routes.

Parking

Parking is available at the main Bluff recreation area parking lot near the base of the trail system. Additional roadside pullouts may be available, but vehicles must not block gates, logging roads, or emergency access routes. Parking can be limited during busy riding periods.

Safety & Preparation

Lower Bluff Connector is generally easy, but riders should still be aware of loose dirt, small roots, and shared trail use. The trail may have intersections with multiple routes, so riders should stay alert for other users and follow proper trail etiquette. Conditions can become slippery when wet. Helmets are recommended.
