Getting There

Directions

To reach Child’s Play, travel from Smithers toward The Bluff recreation area via Highway 16 and follow access roads toward the Hudson Bay Mountain trail network. From the main Bluff parking area, ride up Bluff Road or connecting climb trails until you reach the Bermline trail system. Child’s Play is part of the lower-to-mid Bermline flow trail network and is easily accessed from nearby connector trails.

Parking

Parking is available at the main Bluff recreation area parking lot. Additional pullouts exist along access roads but should not block gates or logging operations. The parking area is shared with other Bluff trail users and can become busy during peak riding times.

Safety & Preparation

Child’s Play is a flow trail with berms and rollers, but riders should still be cautious, especially at higher speeds. Wet conditions can make berms slippery, and riders should be aware of blind corners and other users on the trail. Helmets are strongly recommended, and beginners should ride within their comfort level while learning cornering and braking control.
