The Cleft Trail is a steep and rugged route leading toward a dramatic mountain cleft (a narrow gap between rock faces) in the Babine Mountains. It’s a lesser-traveled trail that offers a more raw backcountry experience compared to the main park routes.
Please follow Leave No Trace principles: pack out all waste, stay on designated trails, respect wildlife, and be considerate of other visitors.
Access typically via Babine Lake Road from Smithers
