About This Trail

This is a short but steep trail that climbs into the Babine Mountains, quickly gaining elevation as it leaves the lower forest and heads toward open alpine terrain. At the top, you’ll reach a viewpoint overlooking the Onion sledding area, which is non-motorized during the summer season. From here, riders can continue up to the alpine zone, but expect to dismount and hike across sections of the plateau to fully experience the area. The effort is rewarded with wide-open alpine scenery and sweeping 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Leave No Trace

Please follow Leave No Trace principles: pack out all waste, stay on designated trails, respect wildlife, and be considerate of other visitors.
